Generation Rx one of Ohio State’s 2026 Programs of Excellence in Engaged Scholarship

Generation Rx, a medication safety education outreach program at The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy, was selected as one of Ohio State’s 2026 Programs of Excellence in Engaged Scholarship

Given by the university’s Office of Outreach and Engagement to support and promote high-impact engaged scholarship, the Office of Outreach and Engagement has instituted a process to certify programs of excellence in engaged scholarship. The certification process seeks to annually identify and certify projects that demonstrate excellence in community-engaged scholarship and meet the criteria of high-impact engaged scholarship.

Generation Rx was established in 2007 and provides free educational resources to prevent prescription medication misuse across all ages. It has supported various age groups and communities across the country through tailored downloadable education materials, trainings led by Generation Rx Ambassadors and community outreach events.
