Founded in 2007 at The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy, Generation Rx is committed to providing education and resources to support the safe use of medications and other substances to people of all ages.

Our Guiding Principles
Everyone deserves to have the education and resources to keep themselves and their families safe from the consequences of medication or other substance misuse.
- Safe medication practices encompass the safe and intended use, storage, and disposal of medications.
- We believe in approaching people in a non-judgmental way regardless of their medication or other substance use patterns
We recognize that different ages and populations have different medication-related behaviors to consider; therefore, we draw from best practices in healthcare, instructional design, prevention, public health, and community engagement to support resource development and delivery.
We focus on building relationships with each community partner, providing an opportunity to build trust and learn both cultural and community attitudes towards medication and other substance use.
