Generation Rx recently participated in WestFest 2026, The Ohio State University’s West Campus Science & Sustainability Festival, held on October 24, 2026, on Ohio State’s West Campus. The event brought together Ohio State departments, student organizations, and community partners to inspire curiosity and engagement in science, health, and sustainability through hands-on activities. This year's WestFest was the largest event in the festival’s history, welcoming 775 attendees and featuring 57 program partners from across Ohio State and the community.

At the Generation Rx booth, staff and student volunteers engaged children, teens, and families in conversations about medication safety through interactive activities designed to build awareness about the safe use, storage, and disposal of medications. The booth provided an opportunity to introduce community members to Generation Rx resources while helping participants learn practical ways to prevent medication misuse. Throughout the day, Generation Rx interacted with around 300 individuals, connecting with families and reinforcing the importance of medication safety education in a fun, engaging environment.
