Why is Generation Rx important?

Our educational programs and digital resources help address the following:

  • 51% of those who misuse prescription pain relievers get them from family or friends.
  • 128 people die every day from opioid overdose (including prescription medications and heroin).
  • 4,300 Americans each day misuse a prescription pain reliever for the first time.
